West London Alliance Accreditation
We are delighted to announce that Inspire Growth Semi Independent Living is an accredited provider with the West London Alliance (WLA) Accreditation Scheme!
The West London Alliance accreditation scheme is intended for 16+ accommodation and support services, and is designed to help local authority placements and commissioning teams better assess quality, policies and procedures of semi-independent living providers. Inspire Growth Semi Independent Living are proud to have completed each stage of the accreditation process, also participating in a series of workshops and steering sessions, all of which fed into and informed the development of the accreditation scheme.
The scheme is currently linked with a procurement vehicle (The Commissioning Alliance Dynamic Purchasing Vehicle). The WLA currently publish the list of accredited providers through the CarePlace directory, which is also available to local authorities outside of the WLA partnership.
In the absence of statutory regulation and inspection for this sector, it is expected that accredited status will become increasingly relevant in procurement decision making over time – The WLA and Inspire growth Semi-Independent Living believe this to be an essential component in the facilitation and maintenance of high quality service provision for young people aged 16 and over.
Commissioning Alliance provide commissioning services to Local Authorities to improve outcomes and value from social care, education and housing markets for the benefit of the most vulnerable in society.
