Your home.
Your voice. Your next steps.
Moving into a new place can bring a lot of questions. You should know what to expect, who you can talk to and how you can have a say.
What can you expect?
At Inspire Growth House, you have your own bedroom and shared spaces to cook, relax and spend time with others. Staff are there around the clock and you will have regular time with a keyworker.
If you are joining our 18+ service, the team will explain your accommodation and the support visits agreed with you and your professional network.
Your plans should include your views.
Talk to us about what you enjoy, what worries you and what you want to do next. We will work with you on useful goals, whether that is college, work, cooking, money, wellbeing or getting ready for your next home.
You can ask questions and raise concerns.
You can speak with your keyworker, another member of staff, the manager, your social worker or personal adviser. You can ask for help accessing an independent advocate.
The team will explain the young person’s guide, house arrangements and complaints process when you arrive. If you want to make a complaint, ask for help to do this or contact the management team directly.
“What matters to you?”
That’s where we start.
Weekly keywork helps young people shape their support and talk about what is working for them.
Support connects with care and pathway plans, reviewed with the young person and their professional network.
Residents’ meetings, feedback and access to advocacy give young people space to influence their home and support.
